Enniscrone Services

Person centred planning is key to the delivery of supports we provide for the those who use our service.

Hello and Welcome to Enniscrone Services

(Previously Castleconnor Resource Centre C.R.C)

We are located in West Sligo Family Resource Centre, Eircode F26 V5T8.

We share this space with many others in the community…… You’ll find us in the downstairs room.

Person centred planning is key to the delivery of supports we provide for the those who use our service.

Within our person centred planning the individuals we support is at the centre of all decision making of they want to live their lives and achieve their goals and wishes with their families, circles of support and advocates involved to achieve a positive outcome.

Each service user has their own an easy read interactive story board which they created using Canva.

Community Spirit

Our Day service involves individualised services that offer meaningful life experience by active participation in the local community through involvement in local organisations, courses, tidy towns, fundraising etc.

Service users are empowered through skill building and establishing individualised goals, recreational opportunities, to achieve their goals and wishes.

See link attached of Mental Health “Hello, How are you day” All members of the Enniscrone community came together to celebrate. Service users participated in organising, making soup and baking.

Service users attend local training opportunities and are assisted by staff to learn skills that equip them for, personal awareness, health & wellbeing, participating in the local community and educational opportunities that promote the development of creativity, independence, personal responsibility, money management and relationship building.

Each service user annually signs and gets a copy of an easy read service agreement between them and the North West parents and Friends.

As a key worker with service users in Nephin lodge. I can see on a daily basis how much joy Enniscrone NWPF services bring to the lives of the people we look after every day. Our service user’s look forward to Sarah and Annemarie arriving every day and their faces light up when they see them coming through the door. Our service user’s have really integrated and become part of the wider community as a result of being part of NWPF service’s in Enniscrone. They are enjoying taking part in various activities and meeting people. They love the weekly music sessions and the regular outing which take place. Our service users love the way they can plan activities and if they want to try something new that they can. They have tried all sorts from pottery classes to art classes. They also have fun baking and cooking up some new recipes to try out for dinner. Enniscrone NWPF services has become a vital link in supporting our service uses in becoming connected and integrated in the community. We look forward to lots more fun times in the future.
Nephin Lodge
We cannot praise Enniscrone Services enough. The service they provide for our clients is excellent. The team are warm and welcoming to our Users and they enjoy every day they can attend. In particular they enjoy their music sessions on a Friday with Sylvie a local musician. It is an enjoyable experience for one of our ladies, in particular who, attends 3 times per week. She enjoys socializing with friends and doing things which make her feel she is included in her community such at the Christmas food appeals, recycling programmes etc. The Enniscrone Services also include her to participate in art, baking, gardening and much more. We are very grateful and thankful to everyone providing such a meaningful service to our users.

Just a little note to say……. I work at the family resource centre where the North West Parents and Friends occupy a space. The work they carry out is invaluable, collaborative and shows real community inclusion. I thoroughly enjoy meeting everyone particularly on a Friday when they have a music session. Everyone joins in and the joy in the air is infectious. I have made some lovely friends who always bring a smile to my face.
