North West Parents and Friends Association are guided by the HSE, Public Health, HPSC, the Government and our statutory requirements, e.g. HIQA. We continue to deliver essential services. New public health measures have been announced gov.ie The Path Ahead (www.gov.ie)
As part of the vaccination roll-out programme, vaccinations for people we support commenced in March for people in our services. At this point, all adult users of our services have been offered a vaccine and those who took up the offer are in receipt of a first vaccine, with the exception of over 65s and other high risk individual who have been fully vaccinated.
Likewise all staff were offered vaccine in early March and those staff who took up the offer have had their second vaccine and this has been completed in early June, 2021.
