The Sunshine Club
Back in February 5 service users from RSW and 5 from the Resource Centre came together in Knappaghbeg Club to discuss starting an active age group each week. Over tea and biscuits they discussed what they would like to do and what it would be called and so The Sunshine Club was born. They also decided to invite people from Rehabcare to join them. So now every Tuesday moring about 15 people from the 3 services meet for a chat and do activities such as painting, games, quizzes, bingo and of course most importantly drink tea!
IT Presentations
To the delight of some people here in RSW we were invited back to the I.T. this year to give presentations to the 1st year social studies class. Martin, Olivia and Michelle went along and blew the students away with their powerpoint presentations about the digi-know project, the special projects class and the computer class. Well done to all involved and to all involved and to those who prepared presentations too but were unable to attend on the day.
