Castlecconnor Resource Centre, Corballa, Sligo.

In 1997 the Association undertook a further project, with the acquisition, from the Co.Sligo V.E.C., of the Corballa Vocational School: i.e. the old Vocational School, located on the main Sligo to Ballina Road, in the Parish of Castleconnor.

The purpose of this new undertaking was to provide a base for the Association's
Training and Employment Services', for adults with intellectual disabilities and special needs; together with catering for their social and recreational activities, within the Tireragh area.

Refurbishment of the building represented a large investment for the Association, which was grant aided by the 'Peace and Reconciliation Fund'. Local people have contributed financially through the many fundraising events of the Association, and of
other organisations in the area.
