    providing person centred services for children and adults with special

    needs and their families.

     

    We are currently inviting applications for the below positions.

     

     

    Job Title:    Residential Team Leader (Person In Charge)

    Location:    Sligo Town

    Contract:    Permanent (39 hours average)

    Salary:         Negotiable

     

    Essential Requirements

    • A qualification in Quality, Nursing, Social Care, Social Work or Health.
    • Must possess minimum 3 years supervisory/ management experience in the area of Healthcare or Disability Services.
    • A relevant qualification in Health or Social Care Management.
    • Must possess excellent leadership skills.
    • Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
    • Must have detailed knowledge of HIQA requirements.
    • Flexibility and willingness to work in all areas of NWPF Services.
    • Professional, accountable, good planning and time management skills.
    • Must possess a full clean driver’s licence and willing to drive the company vehicle.

    Desirable Requirements

    • Experience of report writing, personal support plans, people and roster management.

    • Ability to work alone.

     

    The position available will require the successful candidate to work in 2 Adult Residential Services as PIC and will be expected to work hours which may include day time hours, evenings, to include weekends.  The successful candidate may have to work in other areas of NWPF Services and may have to deputise for other PIC’s if required.

    Job Title:             Care Assistants

    Location:             Sligo

    Contract:             Locum

     

    To work with Adults with varying degrees of Intellectual Disability/Autism in Residential Services.  Successful candidates will be expected to work hours which may include day time hours, evenings, night duty and/or sleepover duty to include weekends.  Hours of work will vary.

    Essential Criteria

    • FETAC/ QQI Level 5 (Major Award) in a relevant Healthcare course.
    • Experience of working with Adults and/or Children with Intellectual Disability and Autism.
    • Experience of working with people with a range of support needs to include behaviours of concern.
    • Full Clean Driving Licence and willing to drive the company vehicle.
    • Computer Skills (Proficient in Microsoft Office).
    • Must have strong command of English language (both verbally and written) and be eligible to work in Ireland.
    • Excellent communication skills.

     

    Desirable Criteria

    • Person Centred Planning.
    • Assessment and Management of Risk.
    • Safeguarding of Vulnerable Persons at Risk of Abuse training, First Aid training, Moving and Handling training, Food Hygiene training, Children First training.
    • Knowledge/experience of Menu Planning and household budgeting.
    • Knowledge of HIQA regulations & New Directions.
    • Ability to work using own initiative.

    • Full Clean Driving Licence and willing to drive the company vehicle.
    • Experience of working with Adults/Children with Intellectual Disability and Autism.
    • Knowledge of HIQA regulations & New Directions.
    • Computer Skills (Proficient in Microsoft Office).
